The puzzles you make are yours

We keep no rights over anything you generate here, whether it came from the library or from your own word list. It is yours to print, hand out, or sell. There is no per-book fee, no royalty, and nothing to credit. Stop subscribing and the books you already made stay yours.

No two books repeat. Every grid is built from a seed, so the same word list generates a completely different set of puzzles each time you change it. Two people can pick the same topic on the same day and still end up with different books. Keep a seed and you can reproduce a book exactly; change it and you have a new one.

Locking a font or a sort order would be easy and would read as pettiness. Nobody subscribes to unlock alphabetical order. So the free tier is not a crippled demo: it produces a real, unwatermarked, print-ready book at exactly the quality the paid tier does. The only difference is how much of it you can make.

6×9 is free for the same reason. The trim changes the layout, at 0.23in per cell against 0.36in at Letter on a 20-column grid, so someone planning a 6×9 book cannot judge the tool at Letter, and charging them to find that out invites refunds.
